Ultrasound is a dynamic diagnostic tool that facilitates the use of motions or postures that provoke pain and enables applying pressure to the tissue suspected to be the source of discomfort, all while continuously monitoring the patient.

USG-instead of surgery

We offer sonosurgery, a minimally invasive procedure performed under continuous ultrasound guidance. These outpatient procedures, conducted under local anaesthesia, include:
drug and collagen applications, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, fluid aspiration (e.g., hematomas, cysts),
therapeutic injections for tendon sheaths, bursae, and joint spaces.

Sonosurgery serves as an alternative to some hospital-based surgical procedures, such as:

  • hydrodecompression for carpal tunnel syndrome,
  • tendon release surgeries,
  • calcification flushing,
  • adhesion elimination via needle or fluid injection,
  • ganglion cyst removal,
  • and spinal block injections.
